Greg Schoenbachler

Former President & Co-Founder

Greg served as president of Vertical Therapy, LLC since the company was formed. He has been a leader and entrepreneur in the agricultural and solid waste & recycling industries since 1997. Mr. Schoenbachler holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Washington State University.

Chris Hegge, CSPS, ACSM-CFT​

Co-Founder, President & Exercise Specialist (ES1)​ 

Chris has been in the health & wellness industry for 20+ years. He has worked throughout the Pacific Northwest providing therapy for athletes, general population and special populations. He holds a degree in Health and Wellness and is certified through the NSCA and ACSM, he is also certified in advanced FES cycling. Chris’ passion is assisting as many people as possible become healthier, more independent and achieve goals that most people deemed impossible. Outside of the therapy world, Chris enjoys cycling, golf, camping and spending time with his wife Lauren and son Emery.

Nick Cassaday, CSCS

Exercise Specialist (ES2)

​Nick graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in Kinesiology, with an emphasis in Physical Therapy and a minor in Sports Psychology. Nick is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach through the NSCA. He has experience in training individuals in a variety of clinical settings such as orthopedic clinics, pool therapy and in/outpatient rehabilitative facilities; as well as traditional gyms and sports performance centers since 2009. His personal goals are to improve each client’s life through proactive exercises, positive attitude and supportive instructions. Outside of work, Nick enjoys BBQing, rocking on the drums, power-napping and hiking.

Alvaro Bustillos, EMT-B, AAAI, CrossFit-1

Assistant Manager & Exercise Specialist (ES2)

Alvaro graduated from George Mason University and was commissioned as an active duty officer in the U.S. Army infantry for 6 years. He recently changed careers to pursue his true passion in the exercise and rehabilitation fields. Al has been involved in the strength and conditioning world since 2010 and is completing his Masters at Liberty. He has a strong passion to assist people in their recovery needs. Al lives in South Puget Sound with his wife, two children and his dog, Skye. In his spare time, he loves working out, reading and spending time with family.
